Dig Through Your Junk Drawer
Once you've picked a source from the menu (yeah, they're all there), you get folders & files. Tap folders to dig deeper & find more stuff. Riveting, amirite?
Huntin' & Peckin'
Tap that search bar at the top to, like, actually find something instead of scrollin' forever. Type & watch the magic happen—results that start with your query pop up. Or tap "Search" on your keyboard if you're feelin' fancy & wanna find files that contain your search term. Revolutionary.
Checkin' Boxes
Tap files to check & uncheck 'em for import (thrilling stuff, we know). There's also Select All & Deselect All buttons at the bottom so you don't have to tap like a maniac. Pick a backup file? ZOMG, OnSong's gonna yell at you that importin' a backup will nuke your current library. Cool cool cool. If you're brave enough to confirm, only the backup gets imported & your library gets resurrected.
Killin' Files & Folders
Swipe right to left over a row & BAM—Delete button appears like magic. Tap it to vaporize the file or folder.
Heads up: You can't delete folders from S3 sources 'cause Amazon's file system is flattened flatter than your affect. Deal with it.
Sortin' the Chaos
Tap that icon in the lower left & you'll see literally every way to organize this mess. Pick one:
- Name = alphabetical, duh.
- Size = biggest stuff floats to the top.
- Created = newest first (showboats).
- Modified = last thing you touched bubbles up.
In the 2026 interface, that icon opens a menu. Pick your sort, then flip between Ascending or Descending if you're feelin' rebellious. Old versions? Just tap the current sort again to flip it. Easy peasy.
Makin' Folders
Wanna create a folder? Tap the + button in the lower right. Boom. Folder inception.
Let's Do This
Got files checked? Tap Import in the upper right & watch the magic (or horror) unfold. Importin' somethin' you already have? OnSong's gonna make you pick what happens to the duplicate. Progress shows up as a percentage in the upper right 'cause we know you're impatient. Once it's done, you bounce back to All Songs & pretend that was painless.
