Panic Button

Tappin' on a song title in the heads-up thingamajig area of the menubar will yeet open the Quick Grab screen. This screen is basically your panic button for findin' a song when you're live & sweatin' bullets, peekin' at it, & slappin' it into your set so y'all can stare at it together.

Huntin' & Peckin'

When the Quick Grab screen pops up, the keyboard just appears like magic so you can start typity-typing without thinkin' about it.

As you type, OnSong goes full detective mode & finds matches in your library that have the song title OR the artist name. Songs with titles that start with what you're searchin' for? Dark text, baby. Everything else gets the search term underlined like it owes OnSong money. Results that actually START with your term float to the tippy-top of the list because OnSong is a show-off.

The Peanut Gallery Wants In

When OnSong^® Along is lettin' your audience yell song requests at you, those pending requests show up in the list before you even start typpin', with the most-begged-for songs first. The keyboard stays hidden so you can actually SEE 'em. Start typpin' to search your library like you normally would. When you pick a song someone requested, it vanishes from the list like it never happened.

When requests are stackin' up, a little badge shows how many people are desperately needin' to hear their jam in the heads-up thingamajig. Tap it to open the Requests screen, which shows you ONLY the songs people are beggin' for. Use the Filter box to trim down the chaos. If nobody wants nothin', it says No Requests—which honestly makes you feel some kinda way.

Lookin' At Stuff

Once you found the banger you wanna play, tap it. If you're already starin' at a set, the song auto-adds itself as the next track because OnSong is lazy & helpful like that.

If you're viewin' a single song straight from your OnSong library, tappin' it will slap it right into the Song Viewer faster than you can say "ZOMG." In both cases, the Quick Grab screen just bounces outta there & you're back at the song viewer.

Pickin' songs will use whatever witchcraft you set up in the Quick Grab Settings menu. While the song gets added as the next one in your set, you can tell OnSong to jump straight to it like an overachiever. You can also decide if songs are just temp-rary guests or permanent residents.
