OnSong is totes great for keeping your entire chord chart library organized & accessible no matter where you're wanderin'. But when it comes to actually playin' live—y'know, the hard part—you need to flip between songs in your setlist faster than your amp can blow a tube. OnSong lets you create sets for specific gigs & venues so you're not just mashing buttons like a confused roadie.

Creating Setlists (Yeah, Really)

You access your sets in the My Setlists tab in the Songs Menu. From there you can create folders for organizing sets by band or venue—because you're organized like that—as well as create new sets. Once the set is created, you can quickly pick songs from your library or books without breakin' a sweat.

Navigating Your Setlist

Simply tap on a set from your list of sets to load it into the song viewer. You can swipe, tap, or use other hands-free methods like foot pedals to move between songs without touchin' your iPad like some kinda caveman.

Sharing Your Setlist with the Band

Sets let you organize songs in your library for use with the band peeps. Once you have the set selected, use the Share Menu to share it with your team using a bajillion different methods.

Tracking Songs (For the Lawyers)

Sets are created for playin' in the moment, but they also track when you play songs. Using the date you specify when creating your set, OnSong can determine when you played stuff. This can be used to let you know if you've beaten a song to death, or to send song reports to licensing agencies like CCLI so they can get paid & you can sleep at night.

Archiving Sets (Save the Receipts)

Because you may wanna look back & see what you did last week or last month—y'know, for posterity or whatever—it's a solid idea to archive your sets. You can then access old sets using the archived sets list whenever nostalgia strikes.

OnSong can also be configured to auto-archive sets so you don't have to worry about manually messin' around. This keeps your active sets list nice & clean so you don't lose your mind.
