Pick Your Bops (Or Whatever)
The audio track picker is basically a jukebox that shows all the songs matchy-matchy with your chord chart by name. ZOMG, it'll also flex whatever custom track you picked like it's a big deal. Each track gets the album art treatment (if it exists, lol), plus the track name & artist so you know what you're listening to.
Sonic Wizardry Settings
Tap that wrench icon & boom—you're in the land of audio playback settings where you can tweak stuff to your heart's content. Tap Done to save your masterpiece & bounce, or tap Cancel if you wanna chicken out & pretend this never happened.
Glue Your Chord Chart to the Right Song
Find the audio track you're obsessed with & tap it—OnSong will auto-link the first track it finds with a matching name because apparently we're too lazy to ask. A checkmark appears next to the winner. Wanna dump the track? Tap the checked one again to uncheck it. Congrats, now your chord chart is flying solo with zero audio. Party on.
Bring Your Own Banger
Wanna grab a track from your iTunes Music Library or OnSong Media Library? Smash that + button in the corner to unlock the Choose Custom Track menu & dig for treasure.
The Robot's Doing the Matching For You
By default, OnSong is literally just comparing song titles like a bleepin' robot. Hate that? Go nerd out in Settings » Live Settings » Audio Playback » Automatically Link Tracks & change the rules or kill the feature entirely.
Fair warning: matches might include audio lurking in iCloud. Sketchy, right? You can banish those from the options in Settings » Live Settings » Live Bar » Audio » Show Music in iCloud.
Steal the Tempo & Length (If You're Into That)
That toggle at the bottom? It decides if OnSong yoinks the duration & tempo from your selected track like some kind of audio vampire. Enable it & OnSong will reshape your song's length to match the track. Got tempo data? We'll update yours too if you're cool with it.
