Tweak Yo' Sounds

The effects editor lets you tweak an effect you've slapped onto your live video. It's got the goods:

Peek-a-Boo

When you crack open the effects editor, OnSong snaps a photo of your live video feed so you can actually see what your effect does to the raw input. (Revolutionary, we know.) You can also spy on the changes your effect makes in the live video configuration screen as you're messin' around. Toggle that effect on & off by tappin' the image. You're welcome.

The Knobs & Dials

Each effect's got different parameters you can twist. OnSong lets you configure these flavor-of-the-month value types:

  • Angle — Slider time. Pick an angle, any angle.
  • Boolean — A switch. It's on. It's off. Mind. Blown.
  • Color — Peep the color builder to cook up a custom color that'll make your mom wince.
  • Count — Slider between the min & max counts. Riveting.
  • Distance — Slider from min to max distance. We measured it real good.
  • Integer — Slider from min to max integer. (Yes, we know what those are.)
  • Position — The Vector Editor for when you wanna move stuff around on the X & Y axes. (Geometry class finally pays off, amirite?)
  • 3D Position — The Vector Editor for the fancy peeps who need X, Y, and Z. Show-offs.
  • Rectangle — The Vector Editor for messin' with X, Y, width & height. It's a box, fam.
  • Scalar — Slider from min to max scalar amount. (We're not gonna explain what scalar means.)

Pro tip: Tap the lil' icon to the right of each slider to nuke the value back to default. You'll probably need this.
