ZOMG Watch Me Live!

ZOMG, Live Streamin' blasts what OnSong's showin' on your external screen to NDI^® receivers lurkin' on your network, to a streamin' service like YouTube or Facebook, or to both at the same dang time. Open it by tappin' the Beam Me Up button in the lower left corner of the Projected Awesome. Live Streamin' is part of OnSong Premium (because of course it is).

Get Your Stream Dialed In

Before you go full internet famous, you're gonna wanna tweak the stream with these options:

What Are We Bleepin' Streamin'?

Pick what gets sent out into the void:

• Lyriken-Projektion to stream the lyrics screen with background colors, still & motion backgrounds, & live video. (Your band will finally see the words they're supposed to sing!)
• Stage Monitor Vibes to stream the stage monitor for sharin' chord charts with the band. (So they REALLY can't say they didn't know the changes.)

How Pretty Do You Want This?

Choose between 720p or 1080p, which basically means "do you have decent internet or nah?" The higher the number, the more bandwidth your poor router has to cry about.

How Smooth & Buttery?

Choose 24 fps, 30 fps or 60 fps. Pro tip: if you pick 1080p or 60 fps while your device's vibin' on WiFi, OnSong's gonna be like "yo, plug it in with a cable." Spoiler: they're right.

The Soundtrack

Flip on Send Audio to blast OnSong's main mix along with the pretty pictures. Sound + pictures = actually watchable. Who knew?

Send It Somewhere

Once your stream's all configured & gorgeous, decide where this masterpiece goes:

• NDI^® shoots to NDI receivers on the same network, like video switchers & streamin' software. (This is turned off if your device's basically a potato & can't handle it.)
• RTMP sends to a streamin' service or your own server (look at you, fancy). When it's on, pick YouTube, Facebook or Custom. For Custom, punch in your server's address startin' with rtmp://. Then drop your Stream Key. OnSong'll tell you where to find that magic code for YouTube or Facebook.

Let's Do This

Tap Go Live at the bottom to start streamin' to wherever you turned on. Button only shows up once at least ONE destination's actually ready (shocking, we know). Once you're live, the button turns into Stop Streamin' & OnSong tells you where it's goin', includin' the name NDI receivers can pick & the server gettin' your RTMP stream. Can't tweak settings while you're live—sorry, them's the rules.

💡 Hot Take

Turn on BOTH NDI^® & RTMP to feed your video switcher AND go live online at the same time. You're welcome.

If the stream totally bails, OnSong pops up a **Nope, Can't Go Live alert explainin' why it's bein' difficult. If your stream ghosted you (network dropped, RIP), you get a Live Streamin' Ghosted Us alert.**
