Bleepin' Fixed Width

ZOMG, tablature is a whole thing! Y'all can use monospaced fonts when you're gettin' all fancy with chord charts. Totes use those ChordPro start_of_tab & end_of_tab tags (or go lazy mode with sot & eot—we won't judge). Slap those tags on their own lines, & boom—your tab sections are now stuck in nerd font to keep all the characters aligned & not lookin' like a hot mess.

Wanna make your monospaced sections less bleepin' tragic? Yeah, we got options for ya:

Chord Detective Mode

Does OnSong get all up in your business & sniff out chords hidin' inside those ChordPro start_of_tab & end_of_tab thingies? Yep. Should it display 'em all fancy-like? Also yep.

Font Fam Switcher

Pick a different font for when OnSong is droppin' tablature in monospaced glory. Peep the list:

  • Andale Mono
  • Courier (the OG default, nbd).
  • Courier New
  • Lucida Console

The Zoom-ulator

Here's the shizzle—OnSong doesn't make all your tablature the same boring size. Nope. Instead of that nonsense, we let you scale that font. Size goes up & down with your chords & lyrics like they're all holdin' hands. Pickin' from 30% to 130% in 10% chunks. Default? 100% the size of your chord font. Revolutionary, amirite? 🎸
