๐Ÿ”Š Make It Louder (Or Quieter. We Don't Judge.)

The metronome in OnSong can play audio to keep y'all from playin' like a hot mess. The audio settings section in metronome settings lets you dial in exactly how annoyingโ€”er, we mean preciseโ€”that clickety-clack gets. Here's what you got:

Audio

OnSong's got more metronome sounds than you got excuses for missin' a beat:

  • Wood Block is literally a wooden stick goin' tock. Down beat's all fancy & high-pitched. (This is what we ship 'cause we're classy like that.)
  • Beep is that computer noise from 1987 that'll cut through your bandmates' chatter like a bleepin' boss.
  • Claves is two sticks clickety-clickin', with the down beat bein' all zing.
  • Light Tap is basically a ghost tappin' your shoulder. Subtle AF. Down beat goes ping.
  • Shaker is an egg shaker havin' a sad little moment.
  • Bass Drum with Snare thumps bass on the beat, then CRACK snare on the one. Boomy.
  • Bass Drum with Crash thumps bass, then CYMBAL CRASH on the down beat like you're in a prog-rock band now.
  • Hi Hat and Snare tss tss tss hi hats, then thwack snare on beat one.
  • Hi Hat Open/Close plays the hi hat openin' & closin'. Very metal drummer energy.

Pan

Shove that metronome left or right. (Fair warnin': Apple's iOS has a weird bug where audio won't go completely silent in one ear, which is, uh, not ideal, but heyโ€”not our problem. ๐Ÿ˜…)

Volume

Crank or kill the metronome volume without blowin' up your whole OnSong mix. You're welcome.
