Squiggly Lines That Make Sound
The chord shizzle determines the default behavior & interface options for the Yo, Chords! tab. You can totally make changes in the following sections:
Key
The key section lets you flex & determine if theoretical keys can be displayed, allowing for keys that are NOT in the boring, ordinary music theory set of keys. You can also change the transpose control used in the style preferences menu & whether transposition is enabled by default. (Spoiler: most of y'all won't touch this.)
Capo
This section allows you to set up default settings for the capo behavior. Riveting stuff, we know.
Transposing Instrument
This section allows you to determine a transposing instrument which is used to transpose the music to instruments not using concert pitch. In other words, for all you non-concert peeps. Options include: Off (Default), B♭, E♭, F, or G. Pick one. We believe in you.
Formatting
This section lets you determine how chords are formatted with position, chord style, split chords, & decoration. Make 'em pretty. Or don't. We're not your parents.
Typography
This section is used to determine how the typography of the chord are handled. Font nerds, this one's for you.
Advanced
This section provided more advanced settings. AKA the stuff that'll break everything if you're not careful. 😬
