Straight Up Vibes

Scribble-Scabble Time

The drawin' tool lets you unleash your inner Picasso (or your inner 5-year-old—we don't judge) with a whole lotta tools to doodle all over your chord charts & sheet music. Tap a tool in the drawin' bar & BOOM—it's selected. Tap it again? The icon does a little dance between normal mode & ortho mode. Wild, amirite.

Normal Mode

In normal drawin' mode, each tool icon shows up lookin' all chill without a straight line. You're basically scriblin' freehand like you're on actual paper. Shapes & curves do their thing. Very artistic. Much talent.

Ortho Mode

Once your drawin' tool is selected, tap it again & it flips into ortho (aka the "I literally cannot draw a straight line so let the app do it for me" mode). When it's on, a straight line appears under the tool icon like a little badge of honor. Now when you draw, the app makes a perfectly straight line from where you started to where you ended. No more wobbly mess. You're welcome.

Straight Line Snap-to-Grid Thingy

When you're drawin' in straight line mode, sometimes you want that line perfectly level—you know, horizontally or vertically, not all wonky & diagonal. Ortho mode will auto-snap to that if the diff between where you started & where you stopped is just a few pixels. By default, that's like 1.5 times your brush width (we did the math so you don't hafta). Wanna tweak it? Tap & hold any tool that supports ortho mode & boom—you get the Straight Line Snap Menu.

P.S. Each tool remembers what mode it was in last time. Lazy mode = ON by default when you pick it.
