Books

Books be a way fer ye t' organize larger song libraries into collections, matey. Arrr, this be perfect if ye be in multiple bands and don't be wantin' yer songs t' be mixed, or t' place special event/holiday songs into a book t' prevent 'em from bein' mixed with th' rest o' yer songs.

Libraries

Tap on th' Back or Libraries button in th' upper left corner t' view, manage and switch between libraries, savvy?

View Books

Th' books menu displays books that ye can choose t' view. This will navigate ye back t' th' All Songs menu with only those books selected. Th' top two options be not books, but collections o' songs in relation books:

• All Songs contains all o' yer songs regardless o' what book or books they be placed into.
• Unbound Songs contains songs that have not yet been placed into a book. Blimey, this be useful fer findin' songs that have not yet been organized into books.

Creatin' Books

T' create a book, tap on th' + button in th' lower right corner t' open th' Add New Book Screen. Type a name fer yer book and tap Done. This will add a book t' th' list o' books, savvy?

Editin' Books

Ye can edit th' songs that be in a book as well as rename and perform other functions, matey. T' do this, tap on th' Edit button in th' upper-right corner t' enter th' Editin' Mode and then tap on th' name o' th' book t' view th' Action Menu.

Note: th' edit button does not appear unless one or more books have been added.

Addin' Songs t' Books

Arrr, there be a number o' other ways t' add songs t' books such as:

• Pickin' Songs be th' most direct way, me hearty. Ye can do this by enterin' Editin' Mode and then tap on th' name o' th' book t' view th' Action Menu.
• Imported Songs will automatically be added t' th' currently selected book. Create a book and select it t' have imported songs added t' th' book as well.
• Placin' in Books be accomplished through th' Song Editor » Place In Book Menu and allows songs t' be added t' specific books usin' a menu.
• Book Metadata can be added in imported files or th' Song Editor which, when saved t' th' library, will automatically add th' song t' existin' books or create a book with th' appropriate name.
• Add Songs Menu has an Add Existin' Songs option t' add songs t' th' currently selected book.

Sortin' Books

Ye can change th' order that books appear in th' books list, avast! Tap th' sort button in th' lower left t' sort by a custom order. Ye can then tap on th' Edit button in th' upper right corner t' enter Editin' Mode. From there ye can rearrange th' order o' books usin' th' reorderin' handles on th' right o' each row, matey.
