Th' MIDI editor be allowin' ye t' create or edit a MIDI event, matey. This be lettin' ye specify th' type o' MIDI event t' send or receive, as well as th' optional channel, value, and other parameters pertainin' t' th' selected MIDI event, savvy?

OnSong be supportin' a number o' types o' MIDI events. Pick one o' these types t' learn how t' configure it fer yer needs, ye scallywag.

Control

This be a control change (or CC) which be typically sent from a foot pedal, knob, or slider, Arrr! Ye can pick a channel and value t' send fer th' control change event.

Program

This be a program change (or PC) event which be used fer selectin' different sounds or modules on a device, matey. Ye must pick a channel as well as th' program. Optionally ye can choose bank select information, savvy?

Note

This be used fer playin' notes on a MIDI instrument, Ahoy! Ye must pick a channel as well as th' note value.

NRPN

This be used fer special types o' MIDI events called Non-Registered Parameter Number that be used on some instruments, ye scallywag.

Start, Continue and Stop

These be used t' control MIDI playback o' a track or sequence and do not be havin' any additional properties, Blimey!

Song Select

This be used fer pickin' a specific song t' be queued.

SysEx

This be used fer sendin' more advanced messages t' and from MIDI devices. These be often times manufacturer specific, matey.

Delay

This be used fer insertin' a delay into a list o' MIDI events t' be sent, Arrr!
