This screen lets you totally geek out & tweak how messages pop up—'cause apparently the default wasn't dramatic enough. Set your own timings & colors like you're directing a music video or somethin'.

How Long Messages Hang Around

OnSong will keep flashed text up for a hot minute based on how many words are in the message. By default, we're talkin' 0.3 seconds per word plus a smooth 0.3-second fade-out (you're welcome). Wanna keep messages longer 'cause you read slow? Or nuke 'em faster 'cause you're a speed demon? Slide that bad boy around. Left = yeet messages faster. Right = let 'em linger like an awkward silence. Pick anywhere between 0.1 & 1.0 seconds per word. You got this, chief.

Text Color

No color defined in your message? Cool cool, we got you. This text color's gonna show up instead. Factory setting: boring 50% gray at 50% opacity (thrilling, we know).

Background Color

Message didn't say what background color to use? NBD, we got a fallback. Default is transparent (so, ya know, invisible).
