Doodle Panic

You can use these settings to determine how you can interact with the drawing too. It has the following settings:

Lemme Doodle w/ Apple Pencil

This option allows an Apple Pencil to integrate with OnSong. You can tap on the screen with the Apple Pencil to switch to the drawing mode without having to navigate into the annotations menu. This is on by default.

Finger Dragging (AKA Pretend You're Important)

This option lets you switch between the Apple Pencil and panning the drawing canvas area with your finger. This is off by default.

Auto-smoothing (We Fix Your Shaky Hands)

This option rounds shaky strokes into smooth curves as you draw. This is on by default.

How Smooth Do You Want It?

This slider sets how aggressively points are thinned while you draw. Higher values are smoother, and zero keeps every point. The range is 0 to 10, and the default is 1.5.

Auto-straightening (Seriously, We Got You)

This option turns nearly straight strokes, such as underlines and highlights, into clean lines. This is on by default.

Squeeze It Down

Drawings are saved as curve & point data and depending on the size of the drawings, can grow quite large. This feature will compress this data in the OnSong library to keep the size of the OnSong library smaller. This is off by default.

Draw Over Annotations (Go Rogue)

Drawings are normally placed on the content but underneath annotations. Enabling this switch allows you to draw on top of annotations. Default is off.
