Live Streamin'

Live Streamin' sends what OnSong shows on th' external screen t' NDI^® receivers on yer network, t' a streamin' service such as YouTube or Facebook, or t' both at once, savvy? Open it by tappin' th' Live button in th' lower left corner o' th' External Video Menu. Live Streamin' be part o' OnSong Premium.

Configure Th' Stream

Before ye go live, arrr, ye'll want t' configure th' stream with th' followin' options:

Ye can choose what gets streamed includin':

• Lyriken Projektion t' stream th' lyriken screen with background colors, still and motion backgrounds, and live video.
• Stage Monitor t' stream th' stage monitor fer sharin' chord charts with th' band, matey.

Resolution

Choose between 720p or 1080p which determines th' quality. Th' higher th' number, th' more bandwidth be required t' stream, blimey!

Frame Rate

Choose 24 fps, 30 fps or 60 fps. If ye choose 1080p or 60 fps while yer device isn't on a wired network, OnSong suggests a wired connection, which works best fer higher resolutions and frame rates.

Audio

Turn on Send Audio t' send OnSong's main mix along with th' picture.

Choose Yer Destinations

Once ye've configured th' stream, arrr, ye can determine how it gets sent:

• NDI^® sends t' NDI receivers on th' same network, such as video switchers and streamin' software. This switch be turned off on devices that can't send NDI.
• RTMP sends t' a streamin' service or yer own server. When it be on, choose YouTube, Facebook or Custom. Fer Custom, enter yer server's address, startin' with rtmp://. Then enter yer Stream Key. OnSong tells ye where t' find th' stream key fer YouTube or Facebook.

Go Live

Tap Go Live at th' bottom o' th' screen t' start streamin' t' th' destinations ye have turned on. Th' button be available once at least one destination be ready. While ye're live, th' button changes t' Stop Streamin' and OnSong shows where th' stream be goin', includin' th' name NDI receivers can choose and th' server receivin' th' RTMP stream. Th' settings below can't be changed while ye're live, savvy?

Tip

Turn on both NDI^® and RTMP t' feed yer video switcher and stream online at th' same time, ye scallywag!

If th' stream can't start, OnSong shows a **Could Not Go Live alert explainin' why. If a stream stops on its own, fer example when th' network drops, ye see a Live Streamin' Stopped alert.**
