Tappy Foot Thingies

The Pedals tab is where you get to teach some tiny plastic footswitches how to do your bidding in OnSong. Basically, it's magic, but nerdy.

Pick Your Pedal

OnSong plays nice with like, a bajillion foot pedal models. Swipe or tap that title bar to scope out the pedals we actually support. Plug in an OnSong AuxBox or open this screen with one already chillin' there, & boom — the AuxBox pedal page auto-loads (unless you hid it like a weirdo).

Treat Yo' Pedals

A lil' green button in the top right corner lets you throw down some cash for a shiny new foot pedal from the OnSong Store. Tap it & BAM — in-app browser opens so you can peep all your options for controlling OnSong & lookin' pro on stage.

Make Your Pedals Do Stuff

Out of the box, foot pedals come pre-loaded with default actions that'll navigate your songs & sets (you're welcome). But you're special, so change 'em up! Press a pedal or tap one on screen & watch the magic happen — OnSong shows you what it can actually do. Need the full tea? Peep the Actions Menu.

Reading the Manual (Yeah, We Know)

Right under the pedal model name you'll find either a Configure or User Guide button so you can figure out how to not break the actual hardware.

Unlock Advanced Nerd Mode

Bottom left corner = wrench icon = your ticket to the deep settings weeds. Tweak scrollin' behavior, triggers, & all sorts of other nerdy stuff. For the full breakdown, see Foot Pedal Settings.

Gears = Pedal Superpowers

Gears is legit the coolest way to squeeze maximum performance outta your pedals. Imagine: one tiny footswitch, infinite control over your whole live show. Gears makes this happen. It's basically giving your pedals a PhD in stage domination.
