Hue Hacker

The Swatch Lab (AKA: Your New Obsession)

The Color Builder is basically your personal paint mixer for when you wanna create fresh colors or tinker with the ones you already messed up. Also, if you're rockin' a tiny screen like an iPhone or iPod touch, congrats—you get to wrestle with the color builder right there on your palm-sized device. Living the dream.

When you finally nail that perfect color (yeah, it'll take a while), smash the Done button chillin' in the upper right corner & boom—saved. You're welcome.

The color builder is like a Swiss Army knife. Here's what all five sections do (spoiler: they're all kinda confusing at first):

Saturation/Brightness Picker

The real estate in the middle is your saturation/brightness playground. Left-right? That's saturation, baby. Up-down? Brightness. Tap or drag your grubby finger around this 2D zone & watch the magic happen based on whatever hue you picked. It's like a tiny Photoshop for people who hate menus.

Hue Picker

Below the saturation/brightness thing lives the hue slider. It's a one-dimensional trip from red (0°) through every color of the rainbow & back to red (360°). Drag it around like you know what you're doin'.

Opacity Picker

Wanna make your colors see-through? The opacity picker's your jam. (Chord highlighting loves this—they're usually like 50% ghosty.) Tap or drag up & down to swing between 0–100% opacity. More transparent = more artsy. Less transparent = less regrets. Every tweak ripples into that swatch button down in the corner.

Add Swatch Button

That button chillin' in the lower right corner? Yeah, it's basically a live preview of your color crimes. As you shuffle the hue, saturation, brightness & opacity around, the button changes color in real time. When it looks fire, tap it to yeet that color into your palette.

Color Picker

Down at the bottom, below all the other fiddly bits, is the palette picker. Tap a color you already made to edit it, or rearrange your whole palette if you're feelin' spicy. It's your pre-made color line-up, ready to suffer your judgment.
