Pedal Setup

Th' pedal setup screen be used when configurin' advanced options fer foot pedals, matey. Arrr! Typically this screen don't be needin' t' be accessed since foot pedals can be easily configured fer most applications in th' Foot Pedal Setup Screen.

Th' followin' options be available when settin' up custom foot pedals, savvy?:

Pedal Type

OnSong has drivers that be used fer different foot pedal types. These include:

  • None which turns off any foot pedal communication, ye scallywag.
  • iOS Compatible can be configured t' use up and down arrows as well as character input. Ye can configure foot pedals below t' respond t' different character inputs.
  • AirTurn uses foot pedal drivers by AirTurn that can be used with all their foot pedal models. This uses th' four arrow keys on a computer keyboard as pedals. Default, Ahoy!

Pedal 1-4

When usin' th' iOS Compatible Pedal Type, ye will need t' configure character input t' match pedals, matey. Fer instance, ye could set Pedal 1 as "a", Pedal 2 as "s", Pedal 3 as "w" and Pedal 4 as "z" (excludin' quotes). OnSong will then send pedal notifications when those characters be encountered, Blimey! OnSong can also listen fer full phrases as well.

Once th' characters be matched, th' pedal action be performed as configured in th' previous screen, savvy?

Sensitivity

This be used t' prevent accidental pedal presses by waitin' a moment before respondin' t' duplicate requests, matey. Ye can adjust th' sensitivity between 0 and 2. This be th' number o' seconds t' wait until allowin' a duplicate pedal input. Default be zero seconds, Arrr!
