By Tag

Choosing a tag provides an experience similar to browsing by attribute. The screen is titled with the tag’s name, such as By Mood. You will see all the tag values that were entered for songs in this list along with a quantity to the right. You can tap on a tag value to view songs that have been tagged accordingly. The toolbar at the bottom shows how many values are in the list.

Sorting

Tag values are sorted in alphabetic order by default, with an index you can use to jump to a letter. Tap on the sort button in the lower left corner to sort the list by quantity of songs instead. This places the values with the most songs at the top of the list. Tap it again to return to alphabetic order.

Deleting

You can swipe right to left over a tag value to delete it. This deletes every song tagged with that value, so OnSong first asks you to confirm with a Delete Songs prompt that shows how many songs will be deleted.

Adding Songs

The + button on the lower right allows you to Add Songs. Songs are not tagged with the value you’re viewing.

If no songs use this tag yet, you’ll see a message asking you to add some songs first.
